Wanted for March 2012 Robbery In Concord, California

Wanted –  Super Liquor & Food Store Clerk Beat and Robbed in Concord – The Concord Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the man in this surveillance video. Detectives report that this suspect and an accomplice allegedly beat and robbed the clerk at the Super Liquor & Food Store on Monument Boulevard.

At least two masked bandits stormed into a Concord liquor store, pistol-whipping a clerk and robbing terrified customers at gunpoint before fleeing the scene.

Photos captured on the store’s video camera showed one of the bandits – wearing a red hoodie – brandishing a pistol as a victim cowers in fear under the snack display.

The other suspect was also captured on the camera images wearing a black baseball cap, black coat and a mask.

The brazen robbery took place at the Super Liquor & Food at 1511 Monument Boulevard.  The crime left a store employee shaken as she looked at the images. “That’s pretty scary,” she told KTVU. “I just want to cry.”. According to Concord Lt. Garrett Voerge, the clerk suffered minor injuries in the pistol-whipping.

The two bandits fled the scene, running down Monument Boulevard toward Pleasant Hill. The armed suspect was described as a black man in his late 20s, between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet tall with a thin build. His accomplice was described as a black man in his early 20s with a thin build.
