Pictured: Kaylene Gallegos, Taken In 2006
This is the only photo of Kaylene Gallegos that I could find on the Internet. Using her first and last and last name and also her full name which is ”Kaylene Marie Gallegos”
Description → Kaylene is Hispanic/Caucasian, 5’0” – 5’3”, weighing approximately 110-pounds. She has brown, strait hair that was long at the time of her disappearance and brown eyes.
She was reportedly last seen wearing a grey tank-top with a brown jacket over it, dark-blue jeans and sandals.
Circumstances Of Disappearance → Kaylene was last seen on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at her father’s residence in Lakeside Arizona, getting into a vehicle with two male subjects. She stated that she was heading to the Phoenix Arizona area. It was later reported that Jacob Mata, 20, was one of the males that sopposely picked the missing woman up from her residence.
Jacob Mata had an interview and stated that she returned with him to the area on Friday, May 21, 2010, but they got lost on a forest service road where they spent the night. He reported that the next morning, Saturday, May 22, 2010 they got separated while trying to find a way out of the forest and he never saw her again.
Jacob has not been truthful with information he provided Police with. Initially he said he was from Phoenix and Kaylene was his girlfriend. He later had a Jail interview stating he is not from Phoenix, but Show Low, and that he wasen’t in a relationship with Kaylene. He was in jail for seperate charges unrelated to Kaylene’s actual disappearance.
Other Information→ City: Show Low State: Arizona Zip: 85901 County: Navajo → There are four people, including Kaylene, who are currently missing from Navajo.
Many reports have inaccurate discription’s of Kaylene and her disappearance. Information posted by me is taking out of missing persons websites, mainly NAMPM and NCMEC, as media has published inaccuracies regarding this case on more then one occasion.
Law enforcement investigators are asking that anyone with information to please contact the Navajo County Sheriff’s Office at (928) 524 – 4050.
