michael_chitwoodMichael Roger Chitwood was abducted from his DeSoto County home on August 12, 1975. Two days after his abduction, his body was found in the Kissimmee River in Okeechobee County.

It is obvious that Chitwood was murdered and intentionally placed in the river but over 37 years later, his case remains cold.

kellie-jo-krum krum_kelsiKellie Jo Krum was 21-year-old and her daughter Kelsi Krum was 8 months when they vanished from their Arcadia home in DeSoto County on August 11, 1994 at approximately 11:30PM – 12AM. Kellie’s cousin, James Dennis “Jimbo” Ford, was the last known person to have seen her alive. Kellie was planning to move in with her parents to Sebring, FL and apparently was packing the night she disappeared. Ford also told police that when he was leaving Kellie’s apartment, she was on the phone with an unknown individual. Kellie and Kelsi Krum haven’t been seen or heard from since.

Authorities say that evidence and information collected suggest suspicious circumstances.

Foul play is suspected. Keep in mind it is possible that Kellie was murdered and Kelsi was kidnapped and raised elsewhere. This is just one of my theories and no evidence suggest this.

Anyone with information regarding this cold case is urged to contact: Detective Kim Sandoval of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office (863) 993-4700 and/or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children 1-800-843-5678 (1-800-THE LOST).

Nicole Westbrook, originally from Albuquerque, NM, was 21-years-old when she moved to Seattle, Washington at the end of March, 2012.

On April 20th, 2012, less then three weeks after moving to WA, she was murdered. She went to a club with her boyfriend and they left to walk home in the early morning hours of April 21st, around 2am. As they were walking near Second Avenue and Yesler Way in Pioneer Square, several shots were fired from a vehicle, believed to be a ‘white sedan’. One of the shot’s happen to strike Nicole in the neck. Two police officers heard the shots and arrived within seconds where they saw Nicole laying on the sidewalk with a bullet lodged into her neck. As her boyfriend was being questioned by police as to what happened, Nicole was being rushed to Harborview Medical Center where she was put on life-support and died a several days later.

Investigator’s believe it was a random act of violence.“The shooting, so far as we know, was random,” Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn said.

“There’s no honor in what this individual, or individuals, has done,” said Joyce Esquer, Westbrook’s aunt. She goes on to say: “And there’s no honor in silence. We believe that there are [family members] who know this person or have information about who shot Nicole. We ask you to come forward to share this information with the police.”

Candlelight vigil held for Pioneer Square shooting victim

Joyce Esquer at a Candle light vigil which took place on 2nd Avenue, where one of the shots
fired from a white sedan struck Westbrook in the neck.

“Somebody knows something about what happened that night. There are a number of pedestrians who were in the area who, for obvious reasons once they heard the gunshots, dove for cover. But they may know something, and likely may not have known the results of what happened that morning,” said Deputy Police Chief Nick Metz, who goes on to say:“And so, we are asking for folks who were in that area, particularly at 2 a.m. around 2nd and Yesler when those shots rang out, that you please let us know, please give us a call and let us know what you may have seen.”

Metz also delivered a message to the occupants in the vehicle where the gunshot originated: “Whether you fired the weapon or not, you are a potential accessory. And if you want to protect yourself, the best thing you can do is turn yourself in and talk to the detectives.”

As of September 20th, 2012 Nicole Westbrook’s case remains unsolved. Her face is not part of a billboard in Seattle. The billboard was created to break the stigma of ”being a snitch” and if you know something, you have a moral obligation to say something.

Authorities are urging anybody who might know anything to come forward. Your identity will be protected.

“There are other crimes in this city where there are people who knew who had the gun and knew who shot it,” said McGinn. “More than that, there are people in this town right now who know of somebody who has an illegal gun and may use it. They need to come forward, too. They need to help us out.” said Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, in an appearance on 97.3 KIRO
FM’s Ross and Burbank Show
 back in April, 2012.

Seattles Billboards Ask ''Who Killed Me?''

Seattle, Washington — A media campaign was launched Tuesday in an effort to bring in tips in 17 unsolved murders that occurred in Seattle since January 2010.

[VIEW THE LIST OF UNSOLVED MURDERS]
Some of the victims’ families attended the unveiling. “I think it could work, but it’s also really hard as a family to see your child’s picture up.” said Monica Wood, mother of murder victim Franklin Wood. Billboards and bus ads picture murder victim’s faces and ask “Who Killed Me?”

“They know who they are and they need to come forward cause we are in pain,” said Anne Williams, the great aunt of victim Desmond Jackson.

The campaign aims to break the no snitching culture that has impeded some murder investigations.  “Don’t Stay Silent,” the billboards say.
“People have a moral obligation to come forward,” Deputy Chief Nick Metz told those gathered at the launch.

The billboards feature the images of victims Danny Vega, Nicole Westbrook, and Desmond Jackson. Desmond’s mother, Marlo Williams, tearfully begged the public, “If there’s anybody with information that can help solve Desmond’s case, please, please come forward.”

The Unsolved Murder of Rashawn Brazell has become one of the most horrific murder cases in the state of New York

→ Rashawn was a 19-year-old who lived in Bushwick located in Brooklyn, NY. On February 14th, 2005 (aka Valentine’s day.) at approximately At 7:30 that morning, an unknown person rang the apartment building’s buzzer and Rashawn went down to meet him. According to other witnesses, they seen Rashawn with a unknown adult male, outside his Brooklyn, New York apartment and the two men entered the subway together at the Gates Avenue station. Witnesses believe the two exited at the Nostrand Avenue station in Bedford Stuyvesant a short time later. Rashawn was suppose to meet his mother, Desire Brazell,  later that day for lunch. He never showed up and couldn’t be reached.

Three-days-later on February 18th, 2005, two transit workers found a bloody trash bag in the tunnel of the Nostrand Avenue station. The bag contained Brazell’s right shoulder, right arm and lower legs. Then Five-days after Rashawn’s dismembered body parts were found, a piece of Brazell’s pelvis was found in a Greenpoint recycling plant.

Police have chased down many possibilities behind the sick murder – from angry gay lovers to a twisted serial killer. “We have chased hundreds of leads across the country and we are not closer today than we were in 2005,”said Lt. John Cornicello, commander of the NYPD’s Brooklyn North homicide squad.

Investigators spent time in Texas sniffing around a duffel bag factory after DNA evidence proved that an empty black bag sitting in the subway tunnel was used to carry the victim’s corpse. “It is very hard to say after all this time that there is nothing new. It is a shame.”

Poster’s have been posted all threw out the City featuring Rashawn’s horrific murder, just about everybody in Bushwick has heard about Rashawn’s murder and they all had one question… Why?

Desire Brazell holding a photo of Rashawn.

Since Rashawn Brazell’s butchered body was found scattered across Brooklyn over seven years ago, his mom has lived with the added burden of fear that the killer will strike again. Or possibly has struck again to someone else, somewhere.
“I hope someone can call in and give the information we need to close this case,” said Desire Brazell. “I don’t want any family to go through what I went through.”

When Rashawn’s disappearance and murder first unfolded, media refused to cover his story, which in return caused outrage and responses from bloggers and activists arguing that his murder received very little coverage due to the fact that he was a black gay working-class male. Rashawn’s case has since aired numerous times both Nationally and locally on America’s Most Wanted, with the latest airing in 2008.

After the last airing of AMW, Rashawn’s case started to loose interest. So to keep public-interest, in 2008 the Brazells lead a memorial march in Rashawn Brazell’s honor from his old Bushwick apartment to the Bedford-Stuyvesant subway station where his body parts were found. They hope the walk will stir up public interest in the case leading to that one clue pointing cops towards Rashawn Brazell’s killer.

Rashawn Brazell In Younger Years

Rashawn wasn’t a trouble maker, he played by the law, had a job, hung out with friend’s, graduated, had an apartment and was loved by many people and deserves Justice just like any other murdered human being. His family deserves Justice and the killer is still at-large. Who will he strike next?
